Pellings were appointed by McLaren Construction to act as Project Architect on the development that is being led by the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. The office building will provide 1560m2 of office space and aims to meets the Borough's requirement for an attractive, well designed and distinctive building which will bring vibrancy to the area and signal that Barking is an area where new businesses can thrive. The offices will be aimed primarily at new and small local start up businesses and are currently being offered for lease.

Cllr Mick McCarthy, cabinet member for regeneration, said at the event: "This marks another important landmark in our borough - an opportunity for us to support the growth of an enterprise culture in Barking and Dagenham. Our borough is a great place for business, but people don't always know where to start. The Barking Enterprise Centre will provide that starting point."
