Three Pellings Projects in Open House London

Three projects delivered by Pellings will be exhibited as part of Open House London 2013 this weekend. The renowned annual architectural showcase is designed to celebrate architecture, people and place, and sees many of London's most high profile and unique buildings opened to the general public.

Pellings projects that will open their doors over the course of the weekend include:

Erith Yacht Club - A £3.5m New Build Yacht Club where Pellings acted as Architects, Project Managers, Cost Consultants and CDM Coordinators. The building was chosen to hold a reception for the Olympic Torch prior to the London 2012 Games.

St Mary Magdalene C of E School - The £7.6m New Build 2FE Primary School was re-built on an exceptionally tight site. Pellings provided Architecture, Project Management, Cost Consultancy and Planning services on the innovative project that incorporated 'playdecks' to enable children to play safely at three levels of the building.

The Barking Enterprise Centre - The £2.8m project delivered new build office space to support start up businesses and encourage enterprise within the area. Pellings were appointed as architects on the scheme with a brief to provide an attractive, well designed and distinctive building which will bring vibrancy to the area and signal that Barking is an area where new businesses can thrive.

The Open House London event is organised by the charity Open City, and over 750 buildings, and hundreds of thousands of visitors will take part. For more information on Open House London go to:
